I was almost sure that I will never paint any scene from "The Last Battle". For me, this book was the darkest of all the Narnia books. Especially the last chapters. I've changed my mind after listening to the audiobook few weeks ago. After long time since I've read "The Last Battle", I found a new look at the story and... here's the illustration.
But for me, the story has also a very bright side -- and this outshines the dark aspects pretty well. When the world has ended and the life has moved to Aslan's country there will be no tears anymore...
